Cartoonist & Illustrator | Digital & Traditional Art
I am an Ugandan cartoonist and illustrator whose creative practice explores satire, humor, and the complexities of everyday life. Working primarily in digital media often through the Adobe Creative Suite. I create illustrations that capture the social, cultural, and political realities of a typical Ugandan experience. At times, I complement my digital process with traditional drawing on paper or canvas, blending tactile expression with modern techniques.
My creative journey began with a strong desire to experiment beyond the traditional boundaries of art. Digital illustration offered me the freedom to explore distortion, simplification, and exaggeration as expressive techniques that now shape the core of my artistic identity. Through these visual languages, I aim to spark curiosity, foster empathy, and ignite discussions that extend far beyond the artwork itself.
Satire sits at the heart of my storytelling. I use it to highlight the humorous and sometimes absurd aspects of social and geopolitical life, inviting viewers to reflect more deeply on the narratives shaping our society. My work seeks to amuse, provoke thought, and challenge people to look again to question, to laugh, and to engage.
My art is an invitation: a call to think differently, feel more deeply, and join an ongoing conversation about the world we inhabit.
